Wikileaks’ Assange says he ‘pleaded guilty to journalism’ to secure freedom




Assange spent years living in the Ecuadorian embassy in London to avoid arrest and then prison after releasing hundreds of thousands of classified US government documents. His controversial actions have seen him branded as both an advocate for free speech and a reckless blogger who put lives at risk.
