Minnesota’s Democratic Gov. Tim Walz and Ohio’s Republican Sen. JD Vance square off in Tuesday night’s vice presidential debate hosted by CBS News.

In this meeting held in New Yorkcandidates have the opportunity to debate for 90 minutes, seeking to convince voters that they are the best electoral choice, along with their running mate for the White House.

This may be the last chance the electorate has watch the candidates debatesince Kamala Harris and Donald Trump’s campaign have not agreed to future meetings.

The discussion takes place at the CBS Broadcast Center complex, home to the CBS television network’s studios in New York.

Who is moderating the vice presidential debate?

“CBS Evening News” anchor Norah O’Donnell and Margaret Brennan of “Face the Nation” will moderate the Oct. 1 debate, according to the network.

What are the rules of the discussion?

As of now, the campaigns of both candidates have yet to reveal the rules of the debate. However, this is expected to last 90 minutes and both candidates will stand in front of a podium instead of sitting.
