France’s new government, led by conservative Prime Minister Michel Barnier, will have to rely on far-right support as it faces a no-confidence vote in parliament on Tuesday. The movement, named by the leftist New People’s Front alliance, won the most votes in June-July parliamentary elections but fell short of an outright majority, and was subsequently sidelined by President Emmanuel Macron when he chose his new prime minister.
