A man, 19, is accused of using a BB gun to shoot out the windows of businesses and cars in Campbell last week, causing more than $21,000 in damage, police said.
Between Sept. 21 and Sept. 25, Campbell police responded to at least 10 separate cases of broken windows from BB gun pellets.
Damage is estimated at more than $21,700.
Surveillance footage and license plate readers identified the suspect as Frank Vincent Ramos Jr. from San Jose.
He was arrested Friday morning in front of the Bank of America at the Pruneyard Mall. Officers searched Ramos’ car and reportedly found a replica .44 Magnum BB gun on the floor and a half-empty bottle of ammunition in the center console.
