DR Congo begins mpox vaccination campaign in an effort to contain the outbreak
The first vaccines were given to hospital staff on Saturday and more will be made available to the public most at risk on Monday, the health minister said. As the Democratic Republic of Congo struggles to contain a deadly mpox outbreak, the country is still waiting for millions of doses of vaccine to arrive from France, Japan and the US.
