In Ukraine’s Lyman, print becomes a vital link to the outside world




Print media may be struggling in many parts of the world, but it has become a vital link to the outside world for isolated communities near Ukraine’s front lines. In the war-torn Ukrainian city of Liman, Russian shelling often knocks out power and internet access – leaving the local newspaper Zoria (‘Dawn’) as one of the few reliable sources of information left.
