Although he identified as heterosexual, the man from Bogotá expressed his empathy towards the Lgtbiq+ community and feels like a defender of its cause due to the similarities in the treatment he received: “At least for me at the moment, I feel like a gay standard bearer because I was treated the same as in generations in which it was always considered wrong. “I come from those generations in which one has to justify the reasons why this is not the case,” said Jacko in an interview with Diva Rebeca.
