The Sugarcane Agro-Industrial Union has expressed its concern over insecurity in the region and called on the national government to take effective measures against criminal groups. The situation in Pradera reflects a wider security problem in the rural areas of Valle del Cauca, where the presence of armed and criminal groups threatens the lives and well-being of residents and workers.
